Laura Geller New York The Delectables Eye Shadow Palette

Laura Geller New York The Delectables Eye Shadow Palette

PRODUCT-REVIEW

Hi ladies while on my normal visit to my local Ulta I ran across this palette.  Normally the first thing that attracts me to a pallet is the presentation of the palette itself.  Meaning how  pretty it looks I know it should not be the first thing but it is.   The second thing is the colors presented in the palette and third is the price. So this time to be honest it was the colors in this palette that caught my attention not the packaging trust me the overall look of the palette is not visually pleasing if you ask me it needs a major overhaul.  My favorite colors in this palette are:

  • Rasin
  • Honey
  • Sunrise
  • and Vintage.

Below is my take on this palette.

  • Texture of the shadows- The Laura Geller shadows are vibrant, rich, luxurious, silky and lightweight…I love how blendable they are like an absolute dream and have amazing color payoff.
  • Wear time-  With this shadow palette I decided to do something a little different  I wore the Laura Geller shadows without primer or base underneath for a normal 8 hour day.  I applied my makeup at 7am in the morning I didn’t really  have the time to touchup the shadow until around 4pm which was way over the 8 hours I kid you not it did not move, crease or fade. Which blew me away because normally my eyelids would have looked a utter mess after the 2nd hour with most shadows.  get home from work until after midnight.
  • Color options- I love the fact that  The Laura Geller shadows are baked so they are meant to be used either wet or dry so you can create so many different looks with this palette!
